Libra Industries expands Mexico plant

Libra Industries, a privately-held systems integration and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, the company has expanded its manufacturing facility in Guaymas, Sonora State, Mexico.

The expansion, which was announced on February 20, 2023, includes an additional 84,000 sq. ft. of space as well as new sheet metal fabricating and powder coating equipment. The company aims to increase its sheet metal vertical integration capacity and improve its overall manufacturing capabilities at the Guaymas facility.

It is worth noting that Libra Industries acquired Benchmark Electronics Guaymas, Mexico Facility in January 2020, and as a result, the company has retained over 100 associates and all customer accounts from the acquisition.
