Industrial Forum MX: Boosting Sinaloa’s Economy through Investment and Job Creation

The Industrial Forum MX helps position the state as an investment alternative, promotes the opening of new businesses, and generates jobs. For the third time, the Industrial Forum MX is taking place in the port city of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, with the aim of promoting the industry and positioning the state as a real investment alternative in manufacturing. This was stated by the state’s Secretary of Economy, Javier Gaxiola Coppel, during the event’s inauguration.

“In this growth that is happening in Mexico, we in Sinaloa are raising our hands and are now being included in the options for companies that want to come to Mexico to do manufacturing or expand their manufacturing capacity in the country. Sinaloa is now an option,” he noted.

The forum, which brings together business leaders, academics, and government representatives, seeks to boost the state’s economy by attracting new businesses. This is why these events are important: they not only foster the opening of new businesses but also help generate jobs, which is essential for the social well-being of Sinaloan families. The inauguration of the forum was attended by various personalities, including the Mayor of Mazatlán, Edgar Augusto González Zatarain; the Secretary of Administration and Finance, Enrique Díaz Vega, representing the state governor; the President of the Mexican Association of Secretaries of Economic Development, Marcos Del Prete; and the General Director of the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness, Valeria Moy.

These types of events are essential for the economic growth of Sinaloa. The Secretary of Economy added that with joint efforts between civil society, academia, businesses, and the government, the state’s economic outlook can be significantly improved.

Collaboration between these sectors will not only strengthen the manufacturing industry but also benefit the tertiary sector, creating a virtuous circle that further boosts the regional economy.
