Hon Hai Precision Industry Co, also known as Foxconn Technology Group, has announced a strategic partnership with the Chihuahua state government in Mexico. The partnership aims to advance training, foster innovation technologies, and nurture a talent pool with cutting-edge skills in Chihuahua. Hon Hai plans to position Chihuahua as a hub for innovation-driven manufacturing and support sustainable power solutions.
The company has already invested over $500 million in the region and operates several subsidiaries with production sites in Chihuahua. In terms of financial performance, Hon Hai reported a decline in revenue for last month but expects higher revenue in the third quarter due to peak-season demand.
