In a strategic move to cater to the growing markets of mobile hydraulics and factory automation in North America, Bosch Rexroth has inaugurated a new production plant in Querétaro, Mexico. With an investment of approximately EUR 160 million, the company aims to enhance local manufacturing capabilities, improve customer service, and achieve greater operational efficiency.
Spanning an expansive 42,000 square meters, the Querétaro facility has commenced the production of hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves for mobile machinery like excavators, forklifts, and tractors. In the near future, the company plans to expand its manufacturing portfolio to include transmission units, radial piston motors, as well as linear motion technology products such as rails and runner blocks for applications in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, and factory automation.
By capitalizing on the projected growth in the mobile machinery and factory automation sectors, particularly in North America, Bosch Rexroth’s strategic investment and expansion are set to contribute significantly to the industry’s development.
